A group of people standing in a circle with their hands together

Purpose Statement

As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

About Us

St. Paul’s Women of the ELCA, otherwise known as “WELCA”, are a mighty group of servant leaders who generously share their time and talents through mission projects within the church, the region, the state and the world. With each project, we live out our purpose statement and glorify God.   In addition to service projects,  St. Paul’s WELCA meet monthly for an hour filled with scripture, discussion, prayer, love, tears, and laughter.  We share each other’s burdens, lift our sisters up in prayer, share the word of God, show the love of Jesus, and shine with the Holy Spirit.

You can be a part of this wonderful community.  There are two opportunities each month. Please prayerfully consider joining one of these groups where blessings overflow.

Morning Glories / Maude Speagle

Blossoms of Faith
