REV. DR. JOHN H. SPENCER
Pastor
Rev. Dr. John Spencer has served as Pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church since 2019. A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and the third of eight children, he holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics, a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Samford University. Pastor Spencer is passionate about leading St. Paul’s in its vision of becoming a NEW LIFE Church—where we are Serving People, Loving Christ together.
HAYLEY BEATY
Director of Discipleship
Hayley Beaty is the Director of Discipleship at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she passionately leads the community in spiritual development. A proud alumna of Lenoir-Rhyne University, Hayley combines her academic background with a decade of exemplary teaching experience to nurture faith and learning. As a lifelong Lutheran and former camp counselor at Lutheridge, she brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to her role. Hayley is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, engaged, and faithful congregation, drawing on her deep-rooted Lutheran values and her commitment to cultivating discipleship.
